FAQs
Am I a good candidate for restoration?
1
We believe that everything is fixable! Especially historic windows that were made to be repaired. No matter the damage, our team of craftspeople is committed to achieving the best outcome possible, whether that means a new coat of paint or a full rebuild.
How do I get started?
2
Getting started is simple. Reach out through our contact form or schedule a call—we’ll walk you through the next steps and answer any questions along the way.
What restoration services do you offer?
3
We rehabilitate historic doors and windows by restoring the functionality and beauty of these pieces. Our typical process for windows includes old paint and glaze removal, wood repairs, glazing with new putty, refinishing, and cleaning glass. We offer flexible restoration options to fit the needs of your budget and your windows. For doors, we strip all old finishes down to bare wood and refinish to client requests. In this process we also remove and restore the hardware on your historic pieces.
What if I don’t need a full restoration?

We offer several tune-up services, including reroping and rechaining, hardware repair, spot glazing, and restoring functionality. We also encourage you to visit the Window Preservation Alliance’s Reference Library to find resources on how to repair windows yourself!
